Our Music Bios



Elise Chao



Elise’s musical journey began at the age of five, inspired by the sounds of her two sisters playing the violin at home every day. This early exposure ignited her passion for music, leading her to take up both piano and violin. She loves collaborating with her sisters, creating beautiful music together at school events, family gatherings, and community outreach programs. For Elise, music is a powerful means of connection and expression.


- First place, 2025 Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition (Young Artists 5-8 years old).


- First place, 2025 Charleston New Year's Music Competition (Ages 6 & Under).


- Second place, 2025 Classical Music Stars International Competition (Group A).



Elaine Chao



Elaine’s musical adventure began when she started violin lessons at just four years old. Since 2021, she has been a dedicated member of the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra, now serving as a first violinist in the Chamber Strings (Grades 4-6).


Additionally, she has been playing in her school orchestra for two years. Elaine loves sharing her music with others, performing at school graduation ceremonies, community festivals, and service project events. She also enjoys playing the violin alongside her two sisters and helping her friends learn violin. For Elaine, music is a source of immense joy and creativity.

Evelyn Chao



Evelyn Chao’s musical journey began early in her childhood, starting with piano lessons at age five and violin at six. Her passion for piano led to several accolades, including First Place in the Atlanta Music Teachers Association Romantic Impressionistic Piano Competition and Second Place in the Maryland State Music Teachers Association Spring Piano Solo Festival.


Transitioning her focus to the violin, Evelyn has become an integral part of prestigious youth ensembles such as the Georgia Gwinnett Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra. Her talent has taken her to perform at notable venues like the Infinite Energy Arena in Georgia and Strathmore Music Hall in Maryland. In addition to her proficiency in piano and violin, Evelyn enjoys playing the flute for leisure. She finds joy in making music with her two younger sisters, whether performing at school events, family gatherings, or senior living centers. For Evelyn, music is a powerful connector of hearts and minds.
